Chris has been conducting humanist and civil funerals for over a decade. His work has been featured in a BBC Inside Out film and he continues to receive many repeat requests from families and funeral directors from across Tyneside and Northumberland.

“Every funeral is as unique as every person who has ever lived but the common theme, beyond telling someone’s tale of life, is finding the appropriate mix of sincerity and humour; tears and laughter get us through the toughest moments of our lives”, Chris says. “Sometimes it is not what is said but how it is said. However the most important thing I strive for is that a person’s character and personality will shine through the service.”
